Vita Peracta, a start up lead by ex-CEL president Amruth and the current CEL president Nakul Jamadagni finshed Third in the finals of the prestigious Eureka 2008, a business plan competion hosted by IIT-B. They came third to an ex-IIT B team and an ISB team and were one of the few undergraduate teams in the finals.
Winners of Eureka! 2007 Has came up with 3 basic applications which would help in creating a personality skeleton of the user. Launched it s Beta- testing in June.

Playing games was evidently a favourite theme, for it was explored by third prize winners Vita Peracta too. The final year students from BITS, Pilani, devised a technology to predict behavioural patterns using games and analysing the results, instead of the standard question-answer format. The product is aimed at large corporates and agencies that undertake consumer surveys.

Now come Vita Peracta and there is a roar that goes up in the hall. Sindhu starts off by talking about campus placements and the recruitment process of companies. How arbitrary the selection usually ends up. She introduces the their first product where their product helps companies recruit better, by asking the potential employees to play "games", whose simulation would give a fair idea about whom to pick. Now Amruth talks about where they stand. He talks about the product they are building for Times group and Perot systems. Their focus for now seems to be HR and recruitment issues. They are using a "web services (subscription)" business model. They expect to break even in 1.5 years.That seems great!
Vita Peracta, a venture by Amruth B R, Sindhu Anand and Nakul Jamadagni generates curiosity by what it attempts to do; mathematically model the personality of an individual to simulate human behavior. With some renowned psychologists and scientists in its panel of advisors the team hopes to come out with the beta version of its product soon. Their b-plan has been selected for the second stage of IIT B Business Challenge Eureka 2007.
